What Adtally does: Telegram Ads analytics you can check
· updated October 4, 2026 · 4 min read
Adtally is a free dashboard for the Telegram Ads API. It shows spend, impressions, clicks, actions, CTR, CPC, CPA and CVR for every ad, compares periods of equal length and points at ads that need attention. It only reads data: it cannot create, edit or pause ads or move money.
Connect in two minutes
In Telegram Ads open Account → API and copy the access token. Paste it on the Connection page. The server checks it with one read request, encrypts it with AES-256-GCM and returns it to your browser as an HttpOnly cookie for 1 hour. Page scripts cannot read it, and the server does not store it anywhere: no database, no logs with tokens.
The server forwards only seven reading methods of the API: the current account, related accounts, accounts by ID, the list of ads, account statistics, ad statistics and the monthly report. To revoke access, reset the token in Telegram Ads.
Overview: what changed and what to do
- Six key numbers for the period — spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, actions and CPA — each with the change against the comparison period and a sparkline.
- The trend of any of them, the current period over the comparison one, aligned by day.
- The budget: balance, money on ads, average spend per day and the runway.
- The ads whose spend changed the most.
- What to do now: recommendations grouped by rule, with money per day at stake and a date to recheck.
Recommendations with stated confidence
Recommendations are rules on your data, not forecasts. A conclusion about CPA appears only when it holds with at least 90% probability: actions per unit of spend are modelled as a Poisson rate. Each ad is compared with its own history or with the target CPA of its objective; without a target, with the average CPA of that objective. There are at most two recommendations per ad, risks first.
The rules: spend without actions, CPA above or below the target, CPA rising over the last three days, an observed CTR decline on steady impressions (the cause is unproven), actions that stopped yesterday, almost no impressions on an active ad, a daily limit that caps a good CPA, and an ad budget about to run out.
Every ad and every segment
The Ads section lists all ads with status, period metrics, change in spend and CPA, the budget left and a trend line. Search, filter, sort and export to CSV. An ad card shows its numbers for the period and for all time, the text, the link and the current targeting — the current settings, not the history of delivery.
Analysis takes a segment — objective, status, placement, targeting, thresholds on spend, impressions, actions and CPA — and shows everything for it: totals, the trend, CTR against CPA per ad, spend share against share of results, the funnel, the weekday profile, a calendar of days, a breakdown by ad, placement, targeting, objective, status, link or ad text, a budget scenario and a monthly reconciliation that includes deleted ads. Views can be saved per account.
Numbers you can check
- Ratios are calculated from totals, never averaged.
- An unknown value is shown as “—”, never as zero; missing intervals are reported.
- Different objectives are never added together: their CPA and CVR are shown separately.
- The comparison period always has the same length; the time zone is UTC, as in Telegram Ads.
- Today is marked as incomplete, and ads whose statistics failed to load are named and excluded from both periods.
Fast to work with
Press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) to jump to a section, a period or an ad by name; Alt + 1…4 switches sections. The status line shows the exact dates of the period and of the comparison. The dashboard has three interface languages and a light and a dark theme.
Limits
Changes to ads and budgets are made in Telegram Ads. ROI and ROAS are not calculated: they need revenue and margin, which the API does not have. Hourly and five-minute detail works for periods up to three days; a period can be up to 1000 days long.
