Telegram Ads client reports: PDF and Excel
· 2 min read
A client needs spending, results and an explanation of the next step. In Adtally, Reports brings together period comparisons, spending trends, conversion goals and an ads table. You can prepare a report for the whole account or one campaign.
Set the report scope
Select the account, currency and date range in the dashboard. Use equal completed periods for comparisons. For a specific project, assign ads to campaigns, then select the campaign in report settings.
Account totals can differ from the sum of available ads. Check the calculation source shown in the report and its warnings about unavailable ads, gaps and an incomplete day. Use the monthly reconciliation to check monthly spending that includes deleted ads.
Add branding and conclusions
Enter the client, author or agency, report title and conclusions. You can upload a PNG or JPEG logo of up to 500,000 bytes. It appears in the preview and printed report; upload it again after reloading the page.
Write conclusions as an observation, a limitation and an action. A fictional example: “Subscription CPA fell from 5 to 4 EUR. One day has a data gap, so the result needs another check. Next, review the ads with the largest spend.” Without revenue and margin data, do not describe the campaign as profitable.
Choose a format
| Format | Use |
|---|---|
| A formatted report for reading | |
| XLSX | Checking numbers and making further calculations |
The PDF button opens the browser print dialog. Choose Save as PDF and review the page preview.
XLSX contains sheets for summary, ads, campaigns, trends, journal and methodology. Numbers remain numeric; unknown values are empty cells. It exports data rather than reproducing the printed report layout or logo.
Check before sharing
Confirm the client, campaign, UTC dates and currency. Keep data completeness warnings and separate conversion goals. Demo data is explicitly labelled and cannot report real spending.
Report generation and export run in your browser; report data is not sent to the server. A saved file is a snapshot of the export time. Refresh the data and check conclusions again before producing a new report.
